The event was sponsored by Bounce City, City of Salisbury, Downtown Salisbury Inc, St Luke Episcopal Church, Spotlight Dance, Crosby Scholars and 2 Girls and a Mic. Parents and children were given to opportunity to come and enjoy a free hot dog and play on the inflatables as well as meet former North Rowan football player and current NFL Pittsburg Steelers Javon Hargrave. The City of Salisbury Parks and Recreation department set up misters near at the softball fields so that the fans attending the Junior Little League Southeast Regional softball tournament could beat the persistent heat of the late july heat dome that has settle over the area.
