Steve Murph and the VW Cruise In

  • JON C. LAKEY / SALISBURY POST Steve Murph (white shirt) says a few words before he blows out the candles on his birthday cake. Flanked by Nolan Meyerhoeffer, Victor Faries (on left) and Sam Murph (right) pulled the older Murph from a burning VW van several months ago after a car accident saving his life. Driving back from a VW show in Farmington, Murph left the road in his classic VW bus and flipped it over pinning him inside. The vehicle soon caught on fire and and Murph was pulled from the envolved car moments before it exploded.
