The Vietnam Veterans Homecoming Celebration was held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway starting in the rain and ending in the hot sunshine. Thousands of veterans came to the big party to be entertained, share memories, see old friends, remembers their buddies who didn't come home, and put closure to the Vietnam War. photo by Wayne Hinshaw, for the Salisbury Post
