J.C. Price Post 107 sinkhole dilemma

  • Members of the J.C. Price American Legion Post have some concerns about the stormwater drainage that cross the back edge of their property in Salisbury. City of Salisbury councilman Kenny Hardin joined Post members to take a look at the areas that recent heavy water flows have washed out areas around the underground sewer lines. Centurion Medical Products Pep rally lunch

  • The 100 plus employees of Centurion Medical Products on South Main Street stunned the organizers of their in house Carolina Panthers themed competition by going over the top with decorations. During the company lunch party the whole plant shutdown and played games and raffles, enjoyed lunch, and shared the excitement of the upcoming Superbowl to be played on Sunday. Greg Vanzant

  • Gregory Vanzant spent 13 years in prison serving out a sentence for voluntary manslaughter and assault with a deadly weapon. Since his release Vanzant has had great difficulty finding employment. To make ends meet Vanzant has started his own business as a hair stylist. Here Vanzant looks over some the hair extension products he offers for customers. Most of the employment applications have a check box for convictions of felonies which many attribute to the reason former prisoners are challenged with becoming gainfully employed.
